Cochrane and Area Humane Society
The Cochrane & Area Humane Society promotes and preserves the well-being of animals. They strive to find loving homes for all of the animals that come into their care by socializing shelter animals, offering playtime for cats and teaching each dog basic obedience and manners so that the transition into a new home is easy for everyone. With the assistance of WSPA, the Cochrane Humane Society is helping stray dogs on the Morley Reserve in Alberta and working with the First Nations communities to create a more sustainable program.
