When you donate $1,000 or more to help improve the lives of animals, we will welcome you into our Animal Ambassadors Circle.

A dedicated WSPA staff member will be happy to answer your questions and will address any concerns you may have.

How your gift works for animals

A Gift of $1,000 to $2,499 can:

  • Pay for the veterinary care and transportation to a sanctuary for a rescued bear.

  • Repair an animal shelter that was damaged in a natural disaster.

  • Provide alternative lifestyle training for a former dancing bear owner in India.

A Gift of $2,500 to $4,999 can:

  • Fuel a mobile veterinary clinic for six months, so that it can reach as many animals as possible.

  • Provide six months of essential medication to treat infectious diseases in working horses and donkeys.

  • Fund sterilization and vaccination programs for dogs living in northern First Nations Communities in Canada.

A gift of $5,000 to $9,999 can:

  • Provide vaccines, anaesthetic and ongoing veterinary care for 60 bonobos (pygmy chimpanzees) rescued from the bushmeat trade.

  • Supply humane education training appropriately translated to at least four schools in developing countries.

  • Provide three days of humane animal husbandry practices to twenty-five farmers in developing countries.

 A gift of $10,000 to $49,999 can:

  • Provide a year's worth of diapers, bottles, bedding and sleeping baskets for up to 1,000 orphaned infant orangutans.

  • Provide training in humane animal husbandry and handling to 500 owners of working horses and donkeys in developing countries.

  • Fund a year's worth of care for ten orphaned black bear cubs at a rehabilitation facility.

A gift of $50,000 to $99,999 can:

  • Fund an entire disaster relief operation for companion animals, including veterinary care, shelter and food for thousands of dogs and cats.

  • Purchase and outfit a vehicle to be used as a mobile veterinary clinic in remote locations.

  • Pay for a year's supply of food and veterinary treatment for 30 bears in a WSPA sanctuary.

A gift of $100,000+ can:

A gift of this level will pay for the entire annual budget of many of our programs for companion animals, bears, equines, farm animals and disaster relief.

Joining WSPA at this level gives unlimited access to WSPA senior staff and the opportunity to meet with international programs staff when they travel to Canada. Donations of this level will be specially recognized on our website and in our annual Global Review if so desired.
